Galleria Crispi Gallia Kroumova Trulli presented at

room in the Augustinian S. Maria del Popolo - Piazza del Popolo - Rome

23 to 30 October 2007

International Exhibition of Contemporary Art Painting, sculpture, photography, digital art.

Edited by: Julius Francis Faraci and Gaul Kroumova Trulli

presentation: Giulio Francesco Faraco - art critic

Contemporary art, especially in the figurative and visual, all things considered, has a few spaces and opportunities for the free and independent comparison of genres, techniques, experiments. The large number of events that are constantly promoted well, can lead to a fragmentation of views and visions, which often confuses all the components in the system of art, artists, audiences, technical and cultural.
The International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, which opens Tuesday, October 23 at the Hall in the Basilica of St. Augustinian Maria del Popolo in Rome, was founded with the explicit intent to condense in one place and when the various enzymes that characterize the contemporary artistic production. Commissioned and organized by Trulli Kroumova Gaul, director of the Galleria Crispi, this review shows that the active role of art galleries in the promotion and dissemination of culture, the exhibition has been curated by the critic Julius Francis Faraci. Among the more than 70 artists, both Italian and international, chosen to exhibit in the prestigious dell'Agostiniana spaces, and include established names already historicized, together with new promising levers, in a fruitful juxtaposition and comparison of ideals and codes of expression. The aim of the exhibition is in fact not only to offer the artists an opportunity for high visibility, an event where the public know and identify creative ways, but above all a kind of laboratory of relations - between works, artists, viewers - that experience and build their self- formulas and its outcomes. As the curator writes: "A review is so well understood his need to be and to offer just because it is linked in its very conception to the reality of contemporary art. What is a dynamic, continuously evolving and fervent ... Then, the task of representing can not be separated from the factual determination to follow trends and guidelines, to adapt the criteria of cognitive and speculative references to an agile and flexible schemes unstable. "This setting gives reason for choosing to develop an overview, not a theme show, to support the various forms of production, from traditional to experimental and technology, in a logical and spatial continuum that helps define the character of the art scene, without building barriers, without imposing any predetermination. THE WHITE AND BLACK ARE THE RED?

place: EX mental asylum SAN SALVI
Within the project Theatres Open, Chille de la Balanza presents "The black and white are red" - San Salvi place differences are transformed into a huge art market, where an engraver (the painter Amedeo Lanci) achieves real-time with his Shop the largest ever produced woodcut in the world on the need to meet each other and opposite sign of the end of an art market, thereby entering the Guinness Book of Records -
At the same time, provocative artists of different languages \u200b\u200b(Painting, Dance, Music, Lyric, Poetry, Photography, Theatre.) sell their creations true (or false?) directly or with the help of Vu cumprà to the public.
We are in another place, where is fighting a new currency, that of madness: the saved, and the wine has the same name that accompanies the whole performance. Everyone entering the free Republic of San Salvi, will therefore have to change their money to buy drawings, songs, poetry ... but also for a coffee or eat a sandwich at midnight on the dot ....
